Well, I couldn’t let a holiday go by without saying anything. Hope everyone who celebrates it has a fun Halloween! I know I will. I’m flying off to Texas in the morning to visit my sister and niece for a couple weeks, so I’ll be spending it with them. Niece will be Tinkerbell, I’ll be Princess Peach, won’t we be the cute girly pair!

Sooo, here is a Halloween card for you all. Sorry there wasn’t a big party this year. Buuut, I did re-upload last year’s haunted house! So you can play that! And as an added little… bonus thingy, I randomly put up the latest slice hunt cards (from, like, June or whatever…), down at the bottom there. So I’ll put you guys on the honor system, and if you have collected all the slices, you can snag the big card.

We are still on hiatus though, so don’t be sending any forms. But we are not dead. The TCG will return, even if it takes a while longer, but it’s not closing, as you can see.

Hi, all! I’m afraid we’re still on hiatus for now. Katia’s having oodles of fun (< ~ sarcasm) moving. And I've been having oodles of fun working. My temp agency got me a job doing inventory of airplane bits, it's death.

It's BA's year anniversary, though. We received the first join forms on September 2nd! So here's a few goodies for those of you who've still hung around. You can take the anniversary card below, five cards of choice, one #9 and one #2 card of choice, and you can go ahead and play these games again: Baking, Memory, Easy Puzzle, Hard Puzzle. Those two should be easier the second time around, eh? Something to do until we get back into the swing of things one of these days.

I’m sure you’ve seen this coming. Tina and I really need a break from BA. We’re not updating in a timely manner, and we’ve both got a lot of things going on in our lives, so we’re gonna be forced to put this on hiatus for a while. We just can’t keep up with this and real life at this time with the same enthusiasm we used to, so we need time to recharge and find a way to keep as motivated as we used to be. Better a hiatus now than a complete closure a month down the line because it’s become an ugly chore, right?

Check back in about a month… hopefully by then we’ll be ready to go again with our old timeliness and enthusiasm! You can still trade, and if you haven’t yet played the games, do so. Everything will remain “open” - but please don’t submit any forms whatsoever. Thanks!

I was going to slog through a bunch of email tonight, but it’s already 8:30, and I work at midnight and still haven’t eaten dinner, and visit my grandmother, who last week had a bad fall and is now in the hospital/nursing home until she recovers her strength. Okay, so group 2 games were updated. We figured out the problem with the crossword puzzle maker, so that’s back, yay! We only got two entries for Iron Chef, though, so that will keep going until we get two more. No one likes pie, huh? Too restricting? The entries we did get are lovely, though.

Happy news! Our nifty member Cricket requested to help with replying to email forms. So from now on, she’ll be in charge of the side bakeries (bread, pizza, bar), and the baking licenses. I’ll be sending her the stuff to do that, and forward her unanswered ones from my inbox… tomorrow. I need a break. lol But yay to Cricket!

Speaking of emails, Katia has a request. Her email’s been screwy, and she asks everyone who’s submitted a member card but not received a reply to resubmit their member card. She also wants me to mention that she is working on grocery store forms, but she’s going backward, from newest to oldest. So don’t resubmit old grocery forms if you only get more recent ones replied to! She’s getting to them!

Yes, my love, we have an update! We got through most of the Round 1 games. Food Fight, I believe, is all that’s left to be updated, and since that’s all mixed up with my email… Well, email’s next on the list, anyway. Tina and I will be tackling it. I’ve heard that my email box, in particular was bouncing stuff back. That’s because the spam monsters took over and sent me a trillion spam messages. *dies* Anyone who wasn’t able to send a message, you can go for it now.

Still not ready for the game update. *groan* ftp and other issues. Couple things for you, though!

First, Katia and I just could not decide on winners for the Bake-Off, so we leave that in your capable hands! Go to the forum, there’s a new child board under the official games category where you can vote. Try not to just vote for your friend! In the future, we won’t be revealing who made what card, now that we know how we’re gonna do this.

My father’s been sick, and work has been incredibly stressful lately, as I’ve been having to train people on this new system that… nobody wants to learn.
